What's behind Savaria Link?

Savaria Link is the digital bridge between your lift and our technical support. Via a secure internet connection, authorized specialists can view the control system's status displays and retrieve the relevant diagnostic data, entirely without a site visit. What the lift is reporting is therefore already clear before a technician leaves the workshop.

The benefit is immediately tangible. Sources of faults can be narrowed down remotely, unnecessary visits are eliminated, and the search for the cause is significantly shortened. If a fault occurs, in many cases it can be checked immediately from a distance. Often a brief telephone guide is enough to fix a minor problem yourself. If an on-site appointment is needed, Savaria Link helps ensure the right spare parts are brought along to the very first visit. A second call-out is thereby often rendered unnecessary.

Easily set up: your Wi-Fi is enough

For Savaria Link, all you need is Wi-Fi access at the lift's location. We take care of everything else during commissioning, so there's no effort involved for you. Even a guest network is entirely sufficient. You simply give your access details to our technician during installation.

To keep the connection permanently stable, a few simple requirements help:

• Wi-Fi reception at the installation site: There should be a stable signal in the area of the control unit. If it doesn't quite reach, a repeater nearby often helps.
• Network name (SSID) and password: We store this data once during commissioning.
• A permanently active connection: Only then can the lift report in when there is something to report.
• A quick heads-up about changes: If the router, network name, or password changes, the connection has to be set up again.

Security and data protection

Your privacy remains protected. You don't have to give us access to your private home network. We even recommend a separate guest or IoT network. That way, your lift stays cleanly separated from your other devices.

Only operational and fault messages from the lift are transmitted. No image or audio recordings are made. And importantly: we do not monitor your lift around the clock. We only retrieve the diagnostic data when you contact us about a fault. If the Wi-Fi should ever drop out, your lift continues to run completely normally, and the connection then re-establishes itself automatically afterward.
