The X3 platform lift is the ideal solution for straight staircases indoors and outdoors, providing fast, safe, and barrier-free access.
With its slim design, the X3 fits on almost any straight staircase, provided there is enough space in front of the lowest step. A minimum staircase width of around one meter offers sufficient room for standard wheelchair models. The ramps at the front make it easier to roll on and prevent unintentional rolling back during travel. When the platform lift is not needed, the platform can be folded up at the touch of a button to save space.

Installation and operation of the X3 platform lift
The X3 platform lift runs on two custom-made aluminum rails, which are mounted either to the wall or on support posts depending on the situation.
One rail contains the rack-and-pinion drive system, while the other provides lateral stabilization. Thanks to this technology, the lift offers a higher load capacity than a seat lift and can usually be installed quickly without major structural changes.
Also suitable for use in listed/historically protected buildings
In many cases, this platform lift can be integrated into listed buildings without major structural interventions. With selectable colors and finishes, it blends discreetly into the historic architecture, preserves the building’s appearance, and at the same time provides barrier-free access for people with limited mobility.
